Welcoming You to the New PERSPECTIVE Website!
We are pleased to announce the launch of the official website for PERSPECTIVE.
The Forest of Craft (工藝の森) refers not only to a specific project but also to a broader concept that guides our work. Alongside this initiative, we run Fab Village Keihoku, a shared workshop that explores the act of making and its relationship with the environment.
By linking these bases, we connect Kyoto City and the mountain region of Keihoku through educational programs that examine how making, the environment, and everyday life are interwoven from a watershed perspective. We also organize residency opportunities, welcoming artists, researchers, and others to spend time in the region and engage with its culture, traditions, and way of life.
Our base in Keihoku serves as both a workplace and a place of living, offering a setting where people from Japan and abroad can stay, learn, and reflect together.
With this new website, we wish to share the full scope of PERSPECTIVE’s activities, which extend beyond The Forest of Craft and Fab Village Keihoku. We publish it with the fresh feeling of introducing ourselves anew, and we look forward to your continued support.
